RISING STARS KINDER PROGRAM
Rising Stars Kinder Program is a DROP-OFF combined gymnastics educational program for children ages 2.5yrs – 5yrs old. We focus on developing fundamental gymnastics skills while incorporating learning activities for cognitive development and independence. Our instructors create a safe and engaging environment where children can build confidence and have fun while learning.
We incorporate shape recognition, counting exercises, pre-writing skills and problem-solving tasks into our program but that’s not all; we believe that learning should be a joyful adventure. Our gymnastics based program ensures that your child not only thrives academically and physically but also develops a lifelong love for learning and sport. PROGRAM DETAILS:
Runs twice per week
TUESDAYS and THURSDAYS from 9:00 – 11:30am
For ages 2.5yrs – 5 yrs
Runs from SEPTEMBER 10th 2024 thru JUNE 19th 2025
DROP-OFF PROGRAM ONLY
MUST BE POTTY TRAINED OR IN PULL-UPS
COMMITMENT: Is for the September to June term (10 month program).
If you choose to withdraw your child from our program we will require you to submit a 30 day written notice (no penalty fee applied).
To withdraw before the 30 days there will be a one month penalty fee.
Cost is $320 per month plus HST
($3200 per year plus HST from Sept – June)
CLOSURES:
September 2nd – 6th (classes start Tuesday September 10th)
Dec 23rd – 27th and Dec 30th – Jan 3rd for Winter Break Holiday (classes resume Tues Jan 7th)
March 10th -14th for March Break (classes resume Tues March 18th)
DAILY SCHEDULE:
9:00-9:15am ARRIVAL TIME
GROSS MOTOR PLAY
MULTIPURPOSE ROOM
9:15 – 10:15am STRUCTURED GYMNASTICS, rotating on all events (circuits, use of trampolines, tumble track, floor exercises, bars, beam)
10:15 – 10:30am SNACK TIME (parent is to provide snack and water)
10:30 – 11:10am CLASSROOM (educational activities as described above)
11:10 – 11:30am GYMNASTICS
CLASSROOM
All classes will be taught to fit the different needs of each child as well as the needs of each age group. With our outstanding staff, we offer small rations 2 instructors for up to 10 children. We are here to help your child in the following areas:
Self-confidence, positive social interactions, manners, independent self care skills, leadership experiences, language development, fine and gross motor development, A-B-Cs, numbers, shapes, colours, math and reading readiness, arts & crafts, dramatic play, music and rhythm enrichment, creative movement, personal safety skills, science (plants, animals, earth, space, seasons, weather) and much more!
